8 Qualities for Better Referrals

Working with people you don't really enjoy, sucks. No matter how much a person or company pays you, there's too many issues that are bound to arise.

Not to mention, all the 'other' people a person hangs with (often, resembling themselves). This results in your name being tossed around, and introductions or referrals given.

Now, normally… this would be a good thing. But in this situation it's not. At least not in my view.

Here are eight (8) qualities I look for and find attractive in a business relationship when working with others. Basically, if these eight qualities are present, a person is a good candidate for a working relationship with me (if my schedule permits).

These 8 qualities will also near always produce a consistent flow of referrals and introductions to others… once the person has come to recognize your talents.

1. They will listen to my advice and my guidance.
2. They enjoy hearing new, creative ideas.
3. They are not afraid to take action.
4. They trust and have faith in my advice.
5. They love to pay me because they receive a ROI.
6. They can be honest and forthright with me.
7. They tell others about me and praise my guidance.
8. They make decisions quickly and are positive and confident.

I encourage you: Make your own list.

It will make it visibily clearer to yourself and to others who is an ideal client for your work.

It will also keep your referrals and introductions on the straight-and-narrow.
